We at The CEI Group, Inc., doing business as  CEI and its affiliates (collectively referred to herein as ” CEI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provide this Privacy Notice to describe how we may collect, use, and share information that the users and visitors of our website (referred to herein as “user,” “you,” or “your”) and others provide us through our website, cei-network.local (“website”).  We may also collect or maintain other information about you or on your behalf through other platforms, such as DRIVERCARE and CLAIMSLINK.

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Notice at any time without notice to you.  We will occasionally update this Privacy Notice.  We encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Notice to be informed of how we use your information.

For the purposes of this Privacy Notice, “Personal Information” includes, without limitation, any information or data that may identify you such as your name or email address.

Information Collection

When using our website, you may voluntarily provide Personal Information including your name, your company name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and your total fleet size.  We may collect this information when you register on our website or request information or a service from us.  We and our agents may also collect Personal Information in a number of circumstances in the course of providing accident management and safety services to you as part of a contractual agreement.  If you apply for a job through the website, we will collect any information you provide in your application, including, but not limited to, educational background, employment history, and references.  If you contact our customer service department, you may need to provide us with additional information so that we can respond to your questions or concerns. We may collect Personal Information about you from third party sources and associate that with Personal Information you have provided to   CEI Management.

Aggregated Usage Tracking: When using our website, we may gather information about you as described below.

  • Use of Analytics Data:

  • Use of Internet Protocol (“IP”) Addresses:
    When you request pages from us, our servers log your IP addresses.  We collect IP addresses for the purposes of system administration, to report on aggregated information, and to audit the use of our website.  Aggregated information is intended for our internal use only, and is part of our performance tracking and diagnostic processes.  We do not normally link IP addresses to any Personal Information, which means that your session will be logged, but you will remain anonymous to us.

    We may use IP addresses to identify you when we feel it is necessary to enforce compliance with our website’s Terms of Use or to protect our service, site, users, or others.

  • Use of Cookies:
    We use cookies to save your preferences so that we can use the saved information to facilitate your use of our website when you return to the website.  Cookies are small pieces of information that a site sends to your computer for record-keeping purposes, which information is stored in a file on your computer’s hard drive.  Cookies do not tell us your individual identity unless you have chosen to provide it to us.

Some of those ads may be personalized, meaning that they are intended to be relevant to you based on information Advertising Providers collect about your use of the website and other sites or applications over time. We use appropriate and industry standard security to protect Internet based communications with us from unauthorized access or interception.  While we undertake reasonable efforts to protect your information, any information you transmit to us is at your own risk.
