Trevose, PA, December 28, 2012 — Katherine Croze, CEI’s national sales manager for government fleets, has been named one of the top women in the fleet industry by Automotive Fleet magazine.

In its December issue, Automotive Fleet named 66 women as those it considered the most influential in the fleet industry.  In addition to 25 fleet managers, the magazine cited 41 female employees of suppliers to the fleet industry.

“These women have not only proven expertise in their field, but have also earned the respect of their colleagues as the most influential fleet managers and fleet professionals in the industry,” the magazine wrote in its cover story.  It said the 41 women from the supplier side of the industry “have been instrumental in helping fleets run successful and cost-effective operations.”

CEI President Vincent Brigidi congratulated Ms. Croze on the recognition.  “For more than two decades, Kathi has been instrumental in CEI’s growth and success as an organization,” he said. “In recent years, she has led our commercial efforts in the government fleet market, and helped us to grow in that segment by almost 60% since 2009.

‘“Her passion, not only for CEI but for the fleet Industry as a whole, has been one of the keys to her success, and helped her become an inspiration to her co-workers and colleagues throughout the industry.”

Ms. Croze joined CEI in 1991, after a career in fleet management at Computer Sciences Corporation and Hughes Aircraft. A member of the National Association of Fleet Administrators for the past 35 years, she was named the organization’s first female affiliate trustee in 2003, a position she held for two years.  Ms. Croze is also s a member of the National Conference of State Fleet Administrators (NCSFA) and a past NFSCA corporate liaison.
